I’ve been appreciating the tumble log so much lately that I’ve sort of forgot about my other online places like facebook. I think scaling back may be the way to go. Flickr is good because I can use it as an archive tool, a community tool, sharing tool, or just a personal log. This is contrast to something like facebook which does so much but specifically nothing very well; I would not use it to archive my photographs. So something like tumblr or a personal blog would be…. the next social network
